How do you handle exceptions and partial results from several asyncio tasks?

For itemized work I keep a stable input identifier with each result and classify success, failure, and cancellation explicitly. If one failure invalidates everything, I stage output and publish only after the group succeeds. Side effects complicate fail-fast behavior because siblings may already have committed work before cancellation arrives. Idempotency and compensating or reconciled state are often more realistic than rollback.
